Cancellations

When booking one of our day tours we require the full payment prior to the tour date to secure your place on the tour.

Guests who cancel their booking for one of our day tours more than 6 weeks before your tour date will be given a full refund. However, no refund will be given if a cancellation is received within six weeks of the tour date.

If requested, The Cameron Heather History Company can transfer guests onto other tours within the company. However, availability on those tours is not always guaranteed and is dependent on the availability of our guides and the number of people on the tour.

The Cameron Heather History Company reserves the right to cancel any of their day tours. If this should happen, all guests will be given a full refund as soon as possible.

Tour Policy

The Cameron Heather History Company aims to provide the best experience possible for all of our guests. It is important that all guests listen to the tour guides at all times.

The Cameron Heather History Company is not responsible or reliable for any accidents or falls which may happen to guests while on any of our tours.

Our scripts are written by Cameron guides and are therefore, wholly owned the by the Cameron guides and cannot be copied.

Complaints Procedure

The Cameron Heather History Company aims to provide the best experience for all of its visitors and if a complaint should arise, will try to resolve the complaint quickly and amicably. Therefore, all complaints should be brought to the company promptly. Those wishing to file a complaint after their tour should either speak to their tour guide, phone the company or email the owner within 28 days of their tour.

Safety and Health

During our tours the tour guide is in charge of the direction and way in which the tour is carried out. All those on the tour should follow the directions of the tour guide at all times.

In order for guests to enjoy their tour the most, The Cameron Heather History Company requires all those on the tours who suffer from any medical condition which may interfere with their health during the tour to notify their tour guide in advance.

Guests must acknowledge that the weather in Scotland can be severe and so must arrive at the meet place for their tour fully equipped.

Guests whose fitness level or medical condition is not considered by the company/guide to be appropriate for certain activities may be asked to make alternative arrangements. In such cases compensation will not be offered by the company.

The Cameron Heather History Company reserves the right to withdraw anyone from the tour if their behaviour is dangerous or disruptive to the tour or the other people on the tour. In this case, The Cameron Heather History Company will not pay said person for any costs incurred by their withdrawal from the tour.

Insurance

Before participating in one of our tours, guests are required to have adequate insurance to cover any death, injury, or loss or damage to any of their luggage and any expenses accrued should one of our tours be cancelled.

Each guest is responsible for his/her possessions whilst on the tour.

The Cameron Heather History Company shall not pay for any medical expenses or refunds should a guest become unwell during one of our tours.

All guests should insure that their insurance is up to date and tailored to their exact needs before participating in one of our tours. All visitors should also have insurance to cover any accident and repatriation.
